Okay, before reading any further, watch the "Yeah Baw" video in archives (October 1, 2007) to jog your memory of this with Caroline.
We're starting to work on manners with Eric lately. You know, the "yes, ma'am, yes, sir" stuff. For whatever reason, he's doing the same thing Caroline did! He won't say "yes ma'am." It comes out as "mesen." He'll say "yes sir" just fine, and he'll say "yes" and "ma'am" just fine by themselves, but try to put them together, and here's what you get:
