We had such a fun Halloween this year! Caroline was old enough to understand what trick-or-treating is and actually had fun doing it. She went as a monkey, and Eric was a chili pepper. They were the cutest monkey and chili pepper I've ever seen! My parents were so nice and came over and handed out candy and stayed with Eric while we took Caroline trick-or-treating for the first time! She did so great. Although she was a little shy about saying "trick-or-treat," she managed to squeak out "thank you" after getting some candy dropped in her bucket. We managed to hit about 10 houses, and she absolutely loved it!
We got home and dumped all her candy out to show Mommy Fish and Buggy. She was so proud! She was one sweaty kid once we took off her suit, though. She got a late bath and didn't make a peep once we put her to bed - what an exhausting and fun night!

That Chile Pepper costume is hilarious...way better than the usual pumpkin! They look so similar that it took me awhile to realize the one picture was Caroline in the pepper costume :)
